It is far from hard. It doesn't require any tools. It also, only takes about 5 minutes to complete. I spent about $24 dollars at the O'Reilly's for the Filter. This sounds like a deal to me, no labor chargers either. You should change your filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles. You don't want to cause motor burn up. This is a step-by-step guide on how to change the Cabin Air Filter for a Toyota Corolla 2018. - ## [**Step 1** Cabin Air Filter](#s348658) * Open Glove compartment located on the passenger side of the vehicle. * Pull the plastic lever to the right to detach from glove compartment hook.
